PSG Ready to Take Legal Action Against Real Madrid for Mbappé

This past weekend, Real Madrid issued a statement asserting that they were not negotiating with Kylian Mbappé behind PSG’s back. However, according to the Spanish press, this rare communication might have its reasons.

Kylian Mbappé is still under contract with PSG, and until January 1st, no club can discuss terms with him without going through PSG. Nevertheless, rumors have been swirling in recent days, suggesting an agreement between Real Madrid and the player for a summer transfer.

PSG, which is hoping to extend Mbappé’s contract, appears to be ready to fight to protect its interests. According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez is bracing for potential legal action from PSG regarding Kylian Mbappé.

« PSG has asked for a sanction against Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappé for ‘tampering’ with a player under contract, » DC reports. Real Madrid has firmly denied any involvement with Mbappé, describing it as « completely false information » and clarifying that « no such negotiations have taken place with a player belonging to PSG. »

« With this statement, they are informing FIFA and UEFA that there is nothing going on, » continues Defensa Central. « In one fell swoop, the Madrid president has avoided potential attacks from PSG. » The standoff between Real Madrid and PSG appears to be intensifying, and PSG doesn’t seem willing to abandon the idea of pursuing legal action. However, Real Madrid is taking measures to protect itself.
