With Kylian Mbappé set to depart, PSG needs to find new faces to lead the team. According to Fabrizio Romano, those faces could be Warren Zaïre-Emery and Xavi Simons.

“Paris Saint-Germain wants Warren Zaïre-Emery and Xavi Simons to be the faces of its future project. Zaïre-Emery will soon sign a new agreement, everything is agreed upon. It should be understood that discussions on a new agreement for Xavi have not yet begun – steps on his future will follow in the coming months,” writes Fabrizio Romano on X.

Xavi Simons, 20 years old, is under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2027. He has been loaned to RB Leipzig for the 2023-2024 season.

The German club wishes to keep him but is expected to return to PSG at the end of the season. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Simons is considered a major figure in RB Leipzig’s project, alongside Warren Zaïre-Emery, a 17-year-old midfielder.
