According to Bild, PSG will want to bring Xavi Simons back, and Leipzig’s sporting director, Rouven Schröder, readily admitted that it will be difficult to see him stay for another season.
“For us, it’s the beginning of a rather negative reflection,” he said. So there probably won’t be a loan for a second season.
“We’ve always said that we were very happy to have Xavi here. At the end of the season, he will return to Paris, as planned, and then we’ll have the opportunity to ask again this summer to keep Xavi,” he said. But without too much hope.
