Xavi Simons getting closer to returning to PSG: the player left PSV’s pre-season camp on Sunday, heading to Paris.

Xavi Simons is now closer than ever to joining PSG. After leaving last summer, the player has been allowed to leave PSV’s pre-season camp to negotiate his transfer to PSG, as announced by the Dutch club.

PSG will pay his buy-back clause of €6 million. The player had requested a few days to think it over and has reportedly chosen to return to Paris.

According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG has two options on the table: if Neymar or Mbappé leave, Simons will stay at the club this season. Otherwise, he will be loaned out for a year.
