Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) appears to be considering Victor Osimhen as a potential successor to Kylian Mbappé if he were to leave the club, according to Le 10 Sport.

Victor Osimhen had already been monitored by PSG during the last summer transfer window, and it’s known that Luis Campos, who has worked with PSG in the past, signed the player for LOSC.

However, Chelsea is also interested in Victor Osimhen and could pose a serious threat to PSG in the race to sign him. Unlike PSG, Chelsea’s management seems to have the “freedom to attempt to recruit Osimhen,” as reported by Le 10 Sport.

Kylian Mbappé has not yet decided between leaving PSG or extending his contract. Therefore, PSG’s recruitment of a potential successor is currently in limbo.

The decision by PSG will largely depend on what Kylian Mbappé decides to do. If Mbappé extends his contract with PSG, it could impact the pursuit of Osimhen. PSG seems to be waiting to clarify Mbappé’s situation before making concrete decisions regarding other transfers.
