Marco Verratti, accompanied by his former teammate turned agent, Maxwell, has arrived in Qatar: his transfer to the Qatari club Al-Arabi is finalized, and he posed with the club’s jersey.
This transaction is expected to bring in approximately €50 million for PSG. Furthermore, Verratti is set to earn a substantial salary of €35 million per year in his new club, more than double his previous salary at PSG, which was around €14.4 million gross per year.
He showed enthusiasm upon his arrival, expressing his eagerness to start the season and discover all aspects of the club, from the fans to the stadium, his teammates, and the coach. The official announcement should be forthcoming.
