Accompanied by his former teammate turned agent, Maxwell, Marco Verratti arrived in Qatar overnight from Monday to Tuesday.
Le Parisien newspaper reports that the Italian player is expected to undergo his medical examination on Tuesday, indicating that his transfer to the Qatari club is progressing well. This transfer is expected to bring in around 50 million euros for PSG.
Furthermore, Marco Verratti is expected to receive a substantial salary of 35 million euros per year in his new club, Al-Arabi. This is more than double his previous salary at PSG, which was approximately 14.4 million euros gross per year.
