Former PSG Player Thiago Motta Has Made His Decision: He Wants to Join Juventus Turin.

An ex-PSG player is set to take the helm at Juventus. According to Sky Sport, Thiago Motta has accepted Juventus Turin’s offer to become their head coach next season. The current Bologna manager, whose team is third in Serie A, is expected to meet with his club’s officials on Thursday to inform them of his decision not to extend his contract, which expires at the end of June.

Thiago Motta is expected to sign a three-year contract with Juventus, earning five million euros per season.

He will replace Massimiliano Allegri, who was abruptly dismissed last week. Allegri’s immediate termination was attributed to behavior deemed inconsistent with Juventus’ values.

This decision followed incidents during and after the Coppa Italia final, which Juventus won against Atalanta (1-0). Allegri was ejected from the match after throwing his jacket on the ground and expressing his anger towards the fourth official over a contested decision in stoppage time. His inappropriate behavior led to a two-match suspension, prompting Juventus to end their collaboration earlier than planned.
