Paris Saint-Germain Welcomes Griedge Mbock to the Women’s Team

Paris Saint-Germain has officially announced the signing of Griedge Mbock to its women’s team. The international defender has committed to the club until June 30, 2027.

The PSG women’s team continues to strengthen, marking their second major signing in just a few days. Griedge Mbock began her professional career in 2010 with Saint-Brieuc, which merged with En Avant Guingamp in 2011. Her performances earned her the title of Best Hope of the championship in 2013 and 2014. In the summer of 2015, the French national team defender joined Olympique Lyonnais, where she played for seven seasons, appearing in over 190 matches across all competitions and scoring 37 goals.

With the Rhone club, Griedge Mbock won six Champions League titles, seven French championships, four French Cups, and three Champions Trophies. The 29-year-old has been individually recognized by being named to the D1 Arkema Team of the Year and receiving UNFP Trophies in 2022 and 2024. After winning the U17 World Cup (2012) and the U19 European Championship (2013), the Brest native made her debut with the French national team in 2013 at just 18 years old. She now has 80 caps and 8 goals for Les Bleues.

“I am very proud to sign with Paris Saint-Germain. This is a major step in my career. I am joining a club as prestigious and ambitious as this one, and I can’t wait to wear the Red and Blue jersey. With the talent of our squad and the support of our fans, I am convinced we will achieve great things and have a fantastic season.”
