Achraf Hakimi, the 25-year-old right-back for PSG, is set to extend his stay at the club beyond his current contract, which runs until 2026.
There have been numerous rumors in recent months suggesting that Achraf Hakimi was close to joining Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid. However, according to RMC Sport, this will not be the case. The player and the Parisian club have reached a preliminary agreement for a contract extension.
“Achraf Hakimi and Paris Saint-Germain have reached a preliminary agreement for an extension. Certain points of the new contract still need to be discussed,” announced Fabrice Hawkins. The Moroccan international, who will be participating in the Olympics, is currently under contract until 2026.
