At the start of the transfer window, there was a big rumor about a potential duo of Julian Nagelsmann and Thierry Henry taking charge at PSG. The current coach of the French U-21 national team has now broken his silence on the subject, speaking to RMC Sport.

The idea of Julian Nagelsmann and Thierry Henry leading PSG had gained traction in the media, but according to Titi (Thierry Henry), it was simply a rumor. Speaking on RMC Sport’s “Rothen S’enflamme,” the new coach of the French U-21 national team addressed the wild rumor.

“Were there any discussions? No, no, no, no. People like to talk on my behalf. That’s something that annoys me,” he remarked, without providing much further detail.

In the end, neither Henry nor Nagelsmann took the reins at PSG, with Luis Enrique appointed as the head coach for the current season.
