PSG has not yet extended Kylian Mbappé’s contract, and as the end of the transfer window approaches, the club’s leaders anticipate an offensive move from Real Madrid.

The Mbappé to Real Madrid saga has been a recurring theme in the summer transfer window for several years now, and it shows no signs of stopping. According to Spanish press, specifically AS, the player’s close associates and representatives from Qatari Sports Investments (QSI) held a meeting on Sunday. This meeting is reported to have been productive, easing tensions and addressing questions about the future.

Although PSG remains optimistic, the club is wary of a potential advancement from Real Madrid. The Parisian management is apparently quite surprised by Real Madrid’s approach, which has not yet made an official move. There seems to be a sense of bewilderment in the PSG offices.

If Real Madrid ultimately decides to make a move before the end of the transfer window, they would need to prepare at least €250 million. This is the amount set by PSG, which plans to hold another meeting with Mbappé’s entourage in the coming week. However, Real Madrid is expected to offer at most €150 to €160 million. This could be a tactic to put pressure on PSG without ultimately securing the signing of Mbappé.
