“Real Madrid CF and Kylian Mbappé have reached an agreement under which he will remain a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons,” wrote the Spanish club in their statement.
With the number 7 worn at Paris Saint-Germain by Vinicius Junior and the number 10 belonging to Luka Modric, the site of the daily Le Parisien claims that the French forward will wear the number 9, which has been vacant since Karim Benzema’s departure last summer.
However, this solution would only be temporary. After Luka Modric’s expected departure in the summer of 2025, Mbappé would take over the number 10.
