Paris Saint-Germain is looking to strengthen their squad next season, and they have set their sights on FC Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong. Catalan newspaper Sport has confirmed this information.
Frenkie De Jong is currently under contract with Barcelona until June 2026. However, he seems less content at the Catalan club and is reluctant to reduce his salary to extend his contract.
With names like Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich and Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle also being mentioned, the former Ajax prodigy represents a recruitment option for Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG is reportedly prepared to offer €60 million to FC Barcelona, which is in dire need of funds, to secure the player’s transfer as early as this summer.
