Despite the announced agreement between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Eintracht Frankfurt for the transfer of Randal Kolo Muani, it appears that the player will not be joining PSG.
The reason for this situation is related to the fact that Eintracht Frankfurt has failed to find a replacement for Kolo Muani, especially in failing to convince Hugo Ekitike, a 21-year-old PSG forward.
Kolo Muani had publicly expressed his desire to join PSG, but negotiations between the two clubs were complicated by Frankfurt’s need to find a replacement forward.
“It seems that Kolo Muani will stay! Apparently, no interesting offer ever came. There’s also the salary factor with Hugo Ekitike. So, very probably, Kolo Muani will stay the player of Frankfurt,” according to Sport 1 journalist.
This turn of events is undoubtedly a disappointment for PSG, who had been hopeful of adding Kolo Muani to their squad.
