Dean Huijsen, a 19-year-old central defender currently under contract with Juventus until 2028, will not be joining Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) during the summer transfer window of 2024.

This eliminates one defensive option for PSG. Dean Huijsen is set to sign with Bournemouth. Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the transfer to this Premier League club is already arranged.

Romano stated on X: “Dean Huijsen is heading to Bournemouth, it’s confirmed! Verbal agreement for a transfer of €18 million plus a sell-on clause for Juventus. Huijsen has accepted a long-term contract with #AFCB, with medical tests to follow.”

What Happened ?

Juventus plans to make an offer for Jean-Clair Todibo as soon as the agreement for Huijsen is finalized. PSG was unable to secure the player, and it remains unclear whether the club was the one to ultimately end the pursuit.
