Kang-In Lee’s time at Paris Saint-Germain appears to be coming to an end. According to PSG Inside Actus, the South Korean international will be placed on the transfer list during the upcoming summer window.
Signed for around €22 million from RCD Mallorca in 2023, Kang-In Lee was expected to bring creativity and technical skill to PSG’s midfield. However, despite some flashes of brilliance and promising performances, he has struggled to establish himself as a key player under Luis Enrique.
Injuries, stiff competition, and his prolonged absence for the 2024 AFC Asian Cup have limited his playing time. So far, he has made around 30 appearances for PSG, but his overall impact has fallen short of expectations.
What’s Next for Kang-In Lee?
Despite his struggles at PSG, Kang-In Lee remains an attractive prospect on the transfer market. Several clubs in Spain and England are reportedly monitoring his situation. A return to La Liga, where he previously played for Valencia and Mallorca, seems like a realistic option, though a move to the Premier League or Bundesliga is also possible.
With his contract running until 2028, PSG will be looking to secure a decent transfer fee to reinvest in other targets. As his Parisian adventure nears its conclusion, all eyes are now on Kang-In Lee’s next destination.
