Bayern Munich is looking to acquire Nordi Mukiele, and PSG is considering Joshua Kimmich to compensate for the departure of the defender.

According to information from L’Equipe, the Parisian club is exploring the possibility of negotiating with Joshua Kimmich, whose contract runs until June 2025. The German player is versatile, capable of playing as a right-back and a midfielder, and he is reportedly open to a move abroad.

“This deal has very little chance of materializing during this winter transfer window, but Paris Saint-Germain deserves credit for trying to finalize a major arrival in recent days. In the negotiations with Bayern Munich for the departure of Nordi Mukiele, PSG officials are trying to convince their German counterparts to let go of Joshua Kimmich,” the sports journal explains.

“According to German sources, PSG would like to allow Mukiele to leave the club by adding a significant amount of money to enlist the German international. The exact amount that Paris is willing to offer has not been disclosed.”

“Kimmich has privately indicated that he would not say no to an experience abroad before the end of his career. Spanish media have long talked about significant interest from Real Madrid in recent months, but more likely for a summer signing. The second challenge would be to convince Thomas Tuchel as well.”
