PSG explored the possibility of acquiring Riyad Mahrez, according to Foot Mercato.
Riyad Mahrez left Manchester City this summer, joining Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia. It was a surprising move for the Algerian player who could have potentially played for PSG.
Foot Mercato reports that PSG considered recruiting the Algerian player. However, Luis Campos, PSG’s sporting advisor, is said to have deemed this avenue to Mahrez too costly in terms of transfer fees.
Riyad Mahrez joined Al-Ahli for €30 million at the end of July.
