Xavi Simons is not expected to return to PSG next season, according to multiple sources.

Forward Xavi Simons, under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2027, has made his choice: he does not want to return immediately. According to information from Djamel and journalist Santi Aouna (Foot Mercato), the player will be loaned out again for the 2024-2025 season. Currently on loan for the 2023-2024 season at RB Leipzig, the German club has already expressed its desire to keep the Dutchman.

There appear to be disagreements among PSG’s management regarding his situation. A sale might have been considered if PSV Eindhoven did not still hold a percentage of any permanent transfer.

According to PSG insider Djamel on X, Xavi Simons has requested to be loaned out for an additional season.
