Could Mbappé end up at… Barcelona, defying Real Madrid’s interest? According to L’Equipe, discussions are ongoing between PSG and the Catalan club.
“In the past few days, even before the announcement of the player’s exclusion on Friday, PSG received a substantial offer of €300 million from Al-Hilal, a Saudi club,” reports L’Equipe.
“But now, a telephone meeting is scheduled between PSG and FC Barcelona. Barcelona would like to include several players in the deal as they don’t have the financial means to carry out such an operation,” the sports newspaper points out.
Apart from Barcelona, clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Tottenham have also shown interest in Mbappé. However, Real Madrid remains the overwhelming favorite in the race to sign the French striker, concludes L’Equipe.
