Victor Osimhen is shining this season with Galatasaray, having scored 20 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions.
However, the 26-year-old Nigerian striker, on loan from Napoli, remains uncertain about his future in Turkey. When asked by Calcio Mercato about his next move, he chose to keep things ambiguous:
“Will I stay? Honestly, I don’t know. A few months ago, no one would have imagined I’d be playing for Galatasaray, and many thought I would leave in January. For now, I take things one day at a time and have no idea what summer holds for me. I love the fans, the club, the city… It’s a privilege to be here, and I’m enjoying the experience to the fullest.”
This uncertainty complicates Galatasaray’s plans, as the club is keen to keep its star forward. The Turkish side has already made a €65 million offer to Napoli for a permanent transfer, but an agreement is yet to be reached, with the Super Eagle’s release clause set at €75 million. The question remains: will Galatasaray meet the asking price, or will Osimhen take a completely different path this summer?
