PSG has shifted into high gear with its pursuit of Bernardo Silva, according to PSG Inside Actus on X.

In early July, PSG has reportedly made a significant move for Bernardo Silva, who is currently representing Portugal at the Euro. “This is the first official offer made to the Manchester club,” confirms the source.

“This suggests that Bernardo Silva has communicated his desire to leave to the Manchester club. The Parisian club did not want to make an offer until the player had spoken to his current club.” Bernardo Silva has a release clause of 58 million euros in his contract. If PSG has made an offer, it is likely lower than this amount.

However, PSG faces competition from FC Barcelona. The player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has reportedly included an exception that would facilitate his departure in exchange for three payments of 19 million euros each.
