Paris Saint-Germain is already planning for a possible goalkeeper shake-up next season.
While Gianluigi Donnarumma’s agents insist that no departure is on the table, PSG’s management is proactively exploring options for a potential successor.
One of the prime targets is Joan Garcia, a 23-year-old Spanish goalkeeper currently playing for Espanyol Barcelona.
According to Fichajes, PSG coach Luis Enrique is particularly fond of Garcia’s profile, and the club is reportedly ready to offer €30 million to secure his transfer. PSG’s sporting advisor has also approved the move, signaling serious interest.
Meanwhile, FC Barcelona is also in the race. With Marc-André ter Stegen struggling with injuries and Wojciech Szczesny signed as a temporary solution, the Catalan club is actively looking for a long-term option.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Joan Garcia has impressed Barcelona’s scouts, with the young goalkeeper delivering solid performances across 25 games this season. His release clause currently stands at €30 million but could rise to €35 million if he earns a call-up to the Spanish national team.
