Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly keen on signing Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez as they look to replace Kylian Mbappé, who departed the club this summer.
According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, PSG is monitoring the Argentine attacker’s situation in recent days.
Alvarez’s limited playing time at Manchester City has made him an attractive target for PSG. Despite joining the Citizens in January 2022 from River Plate, the 22-year-old has struggled for regular opportunities, making only 22 appearances across all competitions last season, contributing five goals and five assists.
Securing Alvarez’s services would be a significant coup for PSG, but it will likely come at a hefty price. Manchester City are unlikely to let the promising forward leave easily, especially considering his contributions during their Premier League title-winning campaign last season.
