Nasser al-Khelaïfi, president of PSG, has made an important announcement regarding Kylian Mbappé’s future.

Amidst swirling rumors last week about Kylian Mbappé’s potential decision to join Real Madrid, PSG has now clearly denied these reports, through its president, Nasser al-Khelaïfi.

“We will inform you as soon as we both have made a decision,” stated Nasser al-Khelaïfi on Thursday. Under an agreement between the two parties, Mbappé will have to inform PSG before any official announcement of his decision, whether to extend his contract or leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

PSG has reportedly offered Mbappé a substantial salary of €100 million per season, with a contract extension for four seasons and an optional fifth. However, Real Madrid is not willing to make such concessions, offering a salary of around €30 million per season, but a signing bonus of about €100 million.
