Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is on the verge of joining Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.
PSG and Al-Ettifaq are set to conclude a deal involving Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. The 32-year-old player, who has been in the PSG’s unwanted list since the beginning of the summer, is about to leave the Parisian club to join this Saudi Arabian club.
According to L’Equipe, the transfer fee amounts to approximately 8 million euros. The Dutch midfielder is expected to undergo his medical examination this Friday before finalizing his move to Al-Ettifaq.
For Wijnaldum, this is an opportunity to explore a new league and take on fresh challenges in his career after an unsuccessful stint at PSG. He was loaned to Roma last season but suffered an injury shortly after his arrival.
