After securing the signings of Lucas Beraldo and Gabriel Moscardo, PSG is looking to further strengthen its squad this winter, with hopes of completing the signings of two defenders by January 31, including Leny Yoro.
With the winter transfer window closing on January 31 at midnight, PSG is eager to finalize two new arrivals. According to L’Equipe, the primary targets include Leny Yoro, the talented French prospect currently playing for Lille.
“The capital club still hopes to bring in a defender and remains attentive to the midfield market (the Joshua Kimmich case remains open, but Paris will mainly push to bring him in this summer). Despite the firm stance shown by Lille’s management, the leaders want to try to bring in Leny Yoro until the last day of the transfer window,” states L’Equipe.
According to multiple sources cited by the sports daily, PSG is planning to make an offer exceeding €50 million, either as a permanent transfer or on loan with an obligatory purchase option.
While other alternatives are also being considered, such as Diego Llorente (on loan from Leeds to AS Roma) and Lucas Martinez Quarta (Fiorentina), L’Equipe emphasizes that these options are deemed “difficult.”
