Central defender Presnel Kimpembe has extended his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. Originally set to expire in June, the French international has officially extended his contract with the reigning French champions until June 2026.

Despite his uncertain health condition (another operation is scheduled), PSG has decided to extend Presnel Kimpembe’s contract. He suffered an Achilles tendon rupture in February of the previous year.

“I am very happy to continue my story with my heart club. I thank Paris Saint-Germain, its President, and its supporters for the renewed trust. I hope to wear these colors again as soon as possible,” stated Presnel Kimpembe.

Currently sidelined due to an Achilles tendon injury, the defender is expected to undergo corrective surgery in the coming days to return to competition as soon as possible, confirmed PSG.
