According to Sport, Ousmane Dembélé, the 26-year-old forward of FC Barcelona, is not interested in leaving the Catalan club despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Even though discussions between Dembélé and PSG have taken place, the player has reportedly stated that he has no intention of leaving Catalonia.
Paris Saint-Germain had reportedly considered using Dembélé’s €50 million release clause, which will double after July 31st, to swiftly secure the transfer. However, the player has apparently affirmed that he would prefer to stay at FC Barcelona, even if PSG were to offer him a higher salary.
These reports suggest that Dembélé wishes to continue his career at FC Barcelona and has no intention of joining PSG this summer.
