Naples is moving ahead without PSG: an exchange could be on the horizon involving Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku and Victor Osimhen.

The Paris Saint-Germain is taking its time, and the deal for Victor Osimhen is on the verge of falling through. According to *The Guardian*, Naples is ready to include Romelu Lukaku in negotiations with Chelsea for Osimhen, as the Parisian club’s indecisiveness could cost them.

Napoli is eager to finalize the transfer of the Belgian striker quickly after two seasons on loan at Inter Milan and Roma. “Lukaku is reportedly open to a three-year contract with Naples. However, Chelsea seems to be holding out for around €35 million and continues to negotiate with the Italian club, which needs to sell Osimhen to fund its market activities,” explains *The Guardian*.

PSG Finds Victor Osimhen Too Expensive

“Paris Saint-Germain was initially seen as the main contender for the Nigerian striker, but talks with Naples seem to have stalled,” especially because Naples President Aurelio De Laurentiis has set a release clause of around €130 million, which is too high for PSG.

Thus, Chelsea and Napoli might proceed with an exchange involving Romelu Lukaku and Victor Osimhen, with an additional sum of money from the Blues.
