Rumors of a contract termination between Al Hilal and Neymar have circulated for a few hours. However, transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano denies the claims.

Neymar is injured for several months, and Al Hilal must cope without their star, whom they acquired at a high cost. The Brazilian played only a few matches before getting injured. Could this have irritated the club’s management? Rumors from “insiders” on X suggest that the Saudi club has terminated Neymar’s contract.

This is false, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. “Al Hilal did NOT terminate the contract of Neymar Jr. The information is denied by my sources, defining it as ‘fake news’.”

“Al Hilal will simply free up a spot in the team list for Renan Lodi as a foreign player because Neymar is injured and will not play for the rest of the season. … then he’s ready to return to the team,” the journalist concludes.
