Nasser Al Khelaifi is confident that Kylian Mbappé will extend his contract with PSG, as he expressed during an interview.
“Kylian Mbappé is a PSG player. We are happy to have him, and we will have him. He loves this club, and he is a fantastic player. He is the best in the world. We are happy,” he stated to a Polish online media outlet.
Currently, the situation remains open. Kylian Mbappé’s contract is set to expire in June 2024. He could potentially extend it for one or two more seasons or leave on a free transfer with compensation for the club.
At the same time, rumors continue to circulate regarding Erling Haaland’s situation. PSG is said to have contacted the agent of the Manchester City player to propose a move as a potential successor to Kylian Mbappé, should Mbappé depart for Real Madrid next summer. Haaland has a €200 million release clause that can be activated next summer.
