The National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) is standing up for Kylian Mbappé: PSG will have to reintegrate him after the transfer window, otherwise, the player will have the right to terminate his contract.

The possibility of Mbappé being sidelined for the entire season is unthinkable for Philippe Piat, president of the UNFP. If Kylian Mbappé remains at PSG but is excluded from the first-team squad, the players’ union representative emphasizes that Mbappé can take the matter to court for hindering his freedom to work.

Starting from September 1st, PSG will be required to reintegrate Mbappé if he is still with the club. “The court can decide on the termination of the contract due to the fault of the employer. It’s incredible that someone like Mbappé, who honors his contract to the end, is being treated this way. It’s unacceptable,” says Philippe Piat in L’Equipe.
