After spending four successful years at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Marcus Thuram found himself a free agent and chose to join Inter Milan this summer, despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

To understand the reasons behind this decision, Kylian Mbappé posed the question to Thuram during an interview on Canal Football Club.

“He knows very well why I didn’t come to Paris (smiles). I never asked for playing time guarantees; I don’t think that exists. When you go to a club, it’s to establish yourself or not. It’s more a question of feeling. Inter was already there two years ago, and Inter has always seen me as a No. 9,” replied Lilian Thuram’s son.

In the end, PSG signed Gonçalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani, who are currently finding their way into the team.
