The PSG has officially announced Mauro Icardi’s departure during this transfer window: the Argentine has been sold to Turkey.

Paris Saint-Germain has announced that Mauro Icardi, the Argentine striker, is permanently joining Galatasaray after being loaned to the Turkish club during the 2022-2023 season.

In 2019, Icardi joined Paris Saint-Germain, where he played in 92 matches and scored 38 goals over three seasons. With the Parisian club, he won two French Championships, two French Cups, one Coupe de la Ligue, and two Trophées des Champions.

On loan to Galatasaray in September 2022, Mauro Icardi had an impressive season, scoring 23 goals in 26 matches in all competitions and winning a Turkish league title. He also provided 8 assists with the Istanbul-based club.

“Paris Saint-Germain wishes Mauro Icardi the best of luck in the rest of his career,” the club announced in a statement.
