Luis Campos, the sporting advisor for Paris Saint-Germain, has made it clear that his future at the club is not tied to Kylian Mbappé’s presence.
Despite their close relationship, Campos has dismissed rumors suggesting that he would follow the French star to Real Madrid. These speculations stemmed from Campos’ previous experience at Real Madrid, where he worked between 2010 and 2013. However, Campos firmly denied these claims, emphasizing that his role at PSG is independent of Mbappé’s career decisions, and he intends to stay with the Parisian club.
“I simply received an invitation from PSG’s president to work for the club. It was a pleasure to reunite with Mbappé, but my future is not connected to his,” Campos stated during the Thinking Football Summit in Porto. “I wish him all the best.”
