Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) continues to consider bolstering its defense and midfield, particularly in light of recent injuries, including that of Milan Skriniar.
According to RMC Sport, PSG is gearing up for winter recruitment, specifically in defense to compensate for Milan Skriniar’s likely season-long absence.
Club executives are closely scrutinizing the transfer market for the winter window. Leny Yoro, an 18-year-old defender currently playing for Lille, could become the club’s primary target. “PSG might make additional signings even though the winter transfer market seemed closed with Beraldo and Gabriel Moscardo (who got injured in Brazil and hasn’t signed yet). The accumulation of matches and injuries necessitates further reinforcements,” explained RMC.
“This summer, PSG had inquired – like Bayern and Real – about Leny Yoro, who has been shining in Lille’s defense this season. However, Lille does not want to let their player go this winter and hopes to extend the contract of their 18-year-old talent, currently under contract until 2025, even if he may eventually leave. Depending on opportunities, PSG could strengthen both in midfield and defense,” stated RMC.
