Lille’s 18-year-old central defender, Leny Yoro, is reportedly close to joining PSG, according to Foot Mercato.

As per the reports, a meeting between PSG and Lille is scheduled for this week to discuss the player’s transfer. PSG aims to secure Yoro’s arrival during the current winter transfer window.

Foot Mercato states, “A meeting is planned this week between PSG and Lille executives to discuss this matter and find common ground to finalize a transfer.”

Several aspects, including the minimal fee desired by Lille and the player’s short-term aspirations for his future, are expected to be discussed during this meeting. PSG is willing to make room for Yoro, even if it requires adjustments to the squad in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The significance given to Leny Yoro is already notable, especially considering that he is now represented by Jorge Mendes’s agency, which also supports a move to PSG. However, conflicting reports from sources like PSG Inside Actus on X cast doubt on Foot Mercato’s information.
