The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has inquired about Kevin Danso, the 25-year-old Austrian defender currently playing for RC Lens, as a potential replacement for Nordi Mukiele. However, the northern French club has shown no intention of engaging in discussions.

While initially open to a departure next summer, Kevin Danso might reconsider his position, especially if PSG expresses genuine interest at this stage, according to information from Sky News journalist Florian Plettenberg. Nevertheless, persuading RC Lens to part with the player during the winter transfer window seems challenging.

Foot Mercato reports that RC Lens maintains a firm stance, deeming Kevin Danso non-transferable, regardless of any offers. The final decision rests with the Lens-based club, and it remains to be seen whether this position will hold in the face of potentially lucrative offers in the coming days.

PSG is exploring various options to replace Nordi Mukiele. According to L’Equipe, the Parisian club is considering negotiations involving Joshua Kimmich, whose contract with Bayern Munich runs until June 2025. Kimmich, known for his versatility in playing right-back and midfield, has reportedly shown openness to a move abroad.
