Could PSG replace Kylian Mbappé with Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal? The creator of the Golden Boy thinks so.

In an interview with TZ, Massimo Franchi, the creator of the Golden Boy award, dropped a bombshell suggesting PSG might go all-in for Lamine Yamal before the end of the summer transfer window. The FC Barcelona player is seen as Mbappé’s potential successor.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if one day, maybe on August 31st, the newspapers announced that he would be Kylian Mbappé’s replacement at PSG. Perhaps even at a price that exceeds the previous transfer record of €222 million paid by PSG for Neymar. Maybe the French club will get Yamal for €250 million,” stated Massimo Franchi.

Currently, PSG seems to have other priorities: Cherki, Leao, or Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is the most desired player by the Parisian management.
