PSG Targets Joshua Kimmich for Summer Transfer, Deal Could Become Concrete This Week.

Joshua Kimmich, currently under contract with Bayern Munich until 2025, is reportedly very close to signing with PSG. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, this transfer might be easier to complete than that of João Neves, which is currently stalled.

Journalist Pedro Morais suggests that PSG has a strong chance of recruiting Kimmich. “I inquired about the Kimmich situation. Initially, I was very skeptical. However, it seems he is not closed off to the idea of joining the club. There is significant competition, but unlike what I initially thought, it remains possible,” he stated on X.

Although no contract agreement has been reached with the player yet, the interest from PSG is genuine. The challenge now is to convince Bayern Munich. It appears that the German club is willing to sell, but for a specific price.

According to PSG Inside Actus, the two clubs “are having multiple phone meetings regarding several players, whether they are currently at the German or Parisian club.” Moreover, PSG “is close to finalizing the Kimmich deal, which could be completed very quickly. The remaining issue is agreeing on the exact amount and bonuses, with Bayern willing to let him go.”
