Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is on the brink of becoming a PSG player. Negotiations are already underway for a deal worth €80 million, according to several media outlets.
The 23-year-old forward currently playing for SC Napoli is increasingly close to signing with PSG. According to reports from Le Parisien and RMC Sport this Friday, the Georgian international player is now the main target for PSG to succeed Kylian Mbappé.
“A little less than three weeks ago, the Portuguese executive was in Rome where he had a few meetings including one with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent. As revealed by RMC Sport, the latter is indeed among the players that PSG is interested in. According to our information, the Georgian forward is the priority for PSG’s executives,” states RMC.
“Discussions have been ongoing for several weeks now and are progressing rather well. Especially between Paris and the player’s representatives, who are not indifferent to the keen interest of the red and blue club. It is possible that the Georgian may not be held back by his club at all costs in the event of a good offer, estimated at around €80 million. The 2023 Italian champions have already begun their search to recruit his replacement,” continues RMC Sport.
“Corriere dello Sport” suggests that Naples is considering selling Kvaratskhelia for €82 million, with a loan plus purchase option for Manuel Ugarte, also 23 years old. The Georgian player is reportedly very interested in transferring to PSG and the prospect of working under the guidance of Luis Enrique.
