Newcastle eyes Randal Kolo Muani as a replacement for Alexander Isak, but Juventus wants to keep him—and PSG will have the final say.
According to Calciomercato, Newcastle is closely monitoring Randal Kolo Muani in case Alexander Isak leaves this summer.
The French international, currently on loan at Juventus from PSG, has been on fire in Serie A, making him an attractive option for the Magpies.
For PSG, this could be the perfect opening to finally land Isak, one of their priority transfer targets.
Kolo Muani Reflects on His PSG Struggles
Speaking to La Repubblica, Kolo Muani admitted that he failed to handle the pressure of his €95M transfer to PSG:
“A French player in Paris, bought for €90 million, carries huge pressure. I didn’t handle it well. I had chances, but I didn’t take them.”
However, he had no bad blood with Luis Enrique: “He’s a fantastic coach. He gave me advice and opportunities. It was up to me to perform.”
Juventus Wants to Keep Him
After being named Serie A’s Player of the Month in February, Kolo Muani has 5 goals and 1 assist in 6 games, convincing Juventus to consider a permanent deal.
The player isn’t ruling out any scenario: “Staying at Juve? My priority is to play and enjoy myself. If things continue like this, why not?”
PSG’s Dilemma: Sell, Keep, or Swap?
The decision now rests with PSG, as Juventus pushes for a permanent move while Newcastle explores a potential swap deal involving Isak.
With the summer window approaching, this could be one of PSG’s biggest transfer decisions.
