Ibrahima Konaté, the Liverpool defender, discussed the possibility of joining Paris Saint-Germain in the future during an interview with the Canal Football Club.
Although he hails from the Paris region, he did not openly comment on his potential move to PSG. However, he acknowledged that transfer rumors are an inherent part of football and that he is prepared to face such speculations.
Currently, he plays for Liverpool and is focusing on his current career.
“PSG has recruited players who get along well, who play together in the national team. Even for Parisian fans, this is what they have been waiting for for years, to have Parisians, French players in the team,” he mentioned. When asked if he ever imagined himself wearing the PSG jersey, he responded, “To say no would be to lie to you, but to say that it is one of my current objectives, not at all.”
