The rumor mill is buzzing about Gabriel Moscardo’s imminent signing with PSG. The 18-year-old Brazilian talent has broken his silence on the situation.

Is Gabriel Moscardo heading to PSG? Not so fast. Luis Campos, the sporting advisor for Paris Saint-Germain, tempered the rumors over the weekend. “PSG, as a great global club, is obligated to be informed about all the great talents. Is it signed? No. Plus, we can’t because the transfer window isn’t open,” he stated on Canal+.

While it may not be a firm denial, it doesn’t mean PSG isn’t negotiating with the player’s club, Corinthians. Simultaneously, the future club president complicates the deal by demanding €40 million, while PSG was basing its offer on the €25 million valuation from the current management.

So, what does Gabriel Moscardo think about all this? The player shared his thoughts on the situation with the regional sports newspaper Gazeta Esportiva this Saturday: “There’s a lot of talk about my future, but I’m very grateful to wear this shirt. I’m very happy. It’s a massive club, and I’ve been here since my childhood. I leave these rumors to my agent; I live my reality. My reality is that I will return to Corinthians in January”… He might return, possibly on loan from PSG, as the current option is to sign the contract with Paris and then stay a few more months in Brazil.
