Facing challenges in recent matches, particularly in his ball distribution, Gigio Donnarumma is reportedly being scrutinized by the PSG management.

While Gigio Donnarumma is not yet under immediate threat, PSG is preparing for contingencies. Following his recent mistakes, including the goal conceded against Newcastle in the 5th round of the Champions League, the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) goalkeeper’s position as a starter could be reassessed.

Although the club’s management and coaching staff currently express confidence in Donnarumma, they are exploring alternative options. According to information from RMC Sport, PSG, led by Luis Campos, is closely monitoring the goalkeeper market, and Lucas Chevalier, 22 years old, is a player drawing interest.

However, Lille Olympique Sporting Club (LOSC) is determined to retain its goalkeeper despite supposed PSG interest. Chevalier, who will participate in the Olympic Games with Thierry Henry in the summer of 2024, is under contract with Lille until 2027.
