Carlos Soler Intends to Stay at PSG Despite Difficult First Season

Despite a challenging debut season, Spanish midfielder Carlos Soler is determined to remain at PSG.

Not sent to the reserves, Carlos Soler is hopeful for his chances under Luis Enrique. The Spaniard believes in himself.

“I couldn’t participate in the training camp in Japan last summer, nor be with my teammates during the preparation. When I arrived, the guys had already played five or six matches. When you join such a big club, it’s challenging to find your place among the team’s players,” Carlos Soler revealed in an interview with Le Parisien.

“Today, I feel good and confident, and I believe I can show a much better performance and contribute to PSG, my teammates, and the club. I want to stay in Paris, there’s no doubt about it. It’s a great club with a top-notch team that has everything to continue growing. I’ll try to have a good preparation, be in the best shape possible, and have a great season,” he added.

Regarding the Mbappé situation, Carlos Soler remains diplomatic. “That’s the question everyone is asking… The club’s decision is what it is, and I don’t have to give my opinion.”
