PSG has unveiled the name of its new coach: Luis Enrique.
He’s here. After weeks of rumors, Luis Enrique is indeed the new coach of PSG starting from the next season. “One of the best coaches in the world, known for his style of play,” specified Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the president of PSG.
Luis Enrique also spoke in French: “Bonjour. First of all, I thank the club, the president, the sporting director for their trust. I am thrilled to be here. I hope to repay this trust. I don’t speak French, but I have started studying it,” he said.
A few hours earlier, after weeks of negotiations, PSG officially announced the departure of Christophe Galtier. “At the end of the 2022-2023 season, Paris Saint-Germain and Christophe Galtier have decided to end his contract as the head coach of the first team,” announced PSG in a statement.
