Cher Ndour, the young Italian player signs with PSG for five seasons, until 2028.

Another arrival at PSG. “Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of Cher Ndour. The 18-year-old midfielder has signed a five-year contract with the club. He will wear number 27,” the club announced. The player played for Benfica Lisbon last season.

Born in Brescia, Italy, in 2004, Cher Ndour first joined the training centers of Brescia (2009) then Atalanta Bergamo (2013) before flying to Portugal in 2020 to sign his first professional contract with SL Benfica.

The Italian-Senegalese midfielder then played with the reserve of the Lisbon club, in Liga Portugal 2. He became, at 16 years and 279 days, the youngest player to play a match with Benfica B. In parallel, he participated in the victory of the Portuguese team’s U19s in the UEFA Youth League in 2022, notably by scoring a goal in the final.

On March 18, 2023, he made his debut for the first team in a match against Vitoria Guimarães, allowing him to take part in Benfica’s coronation in the league. Able to lean on his right foot as well as on his left foot, Cher Ndour is a powerful midfielder (1m90) and very skilful on a technical level.
